“Co-writing with Rosanne and North was an eye-opening experience. I was able to incorporate my own ideas in conjunction with theirs, and I had an amazing time while doing so. The process of writing, recording, and producing the music was absolutely stunning. Needless to say, I’m in love with their work - they are very dedicated to the work they do, and I was able to learn so much from this experience. I really enjoyed working with these two kind, amazing and talented artists, and I highly encourage everyone to experience it for themselves”

Carolyn Hao is a talented, 14-year-old musician / singer who came to us looking for a song to fit her vibe and her voice, and to be her breakthrough tune into the professional side of music. Our first writing session started with Carolyn sharing with us her experience of being a teen-ager with too much on her mind and the late nights, long nights where she couldn’t fall asleep. This led us to writing “LOSING COUNT” where we highlighted Carolyn’s incredible voice, quick wit and quick talk.

We spend a considerable amount of time with our artists through the journey of a song and I can honestly say that working with Carolyn - from writing - to pre-production - through to recording, filming and photographing was as fulfilling for us as it was for her. “Losing Count” placed Carolyn in the top tier of "CBC’s Searchlight Competition" as well as found her the first place win of the “Unsigned Only Music Competition” Teen Category. All said, Carolyn is able to walk confidently through the doors this song is opening for her.

On June 14th, Canadian singer-songwriter “Havelin” released “Me Without You” co-written with Rosanne and North (RBT | NE), Andrew Allen, Havelin, Gavin Brown and Mike Bilenki. Production by the incomparable Gavin Brown, and supported by Warner Music Group, the song has quickly found it’s way onto numerous North American and European playlists gaining streams upwards of 100,000 in a short period of time with substantially more streams every day. Looking forward to the journey ahead with Havelin.

"THE SHOT" - Hannah Thomas

Hannah Thomas, a 16-year-old singer we’ve recently started working with (shown here in the camo pants in the center) is also a participant in this season’s “The Shot”. “The Shot” is a Canadian-based competition that discovers and supports new and emerging talent. And with the deciding audition that would make the difference of whether Hannah moved into or didn’t move into the Top 10, she elected to perform “If Only” at the audition, her new song written with Rosanne and North (RBT | NE). Barely out of the room and soon to be recorded, this song was Hannah’s acoustic go-to which ended up securing her a much deserved place in the Top 10! Way!!

The same studio, and the same couch, these talented young women bring their own colour to a room. So proud of 13-year-old Ava Scaccia, 14-year-old Carolyn Hao and 17-year-old Miklayn Hay who are all semi-finalists in the 2019 Unsigned Only Music Competition. With songs written by Rosanne and North (RBT | NE) , as well as Rosanne and Scott MacKay, we’re wishing these hardworking artist’s much deserved luck in this competition.

"THE LAUNCH" - Trevor LaRose

Trevor is a seriously talented singer-songwriter who has a winning combination of attributes that not only make him a true pleasure to work with, but as Rosanne refers to him, he’s ‘the perfect storm looking for a place and time to land’. Trevor, who spends much time in the room with Rosanne and North (RBT | NE) finding new tunes, was selected from a sea of talent this year to be a participant for Season 2 of The Launch. A very cool and rewarding experience that has broadened Trevor’s visibility, reach and opportunity.

"HAVE A LITTLE FAITH" - Carlos Morgan

“Have A Little Faith” written by Rosanne and North (RBT | NE), with Juno winner Carlos Morgan. Carlos has truly adopted this as his signature song. And with unwavering passion and impressive enthusiasm Carlos has hand-held this song to lead it to where it can make a difference in people’s lives. This is a perfect example of a song finding it’s own time and place. And with that being said, “Have A Little Faith” recently found a place in Europe on the Euro Indie Music Chart which represents well over 100 stations in 60 countries. Jumping in at #70 - in four weeks it has climbed steadily to reach #2 on the chart. Yay Carlos!!
