STRATEGIZING & COACHING

Dante Berardi Jr. provides That First Song artists with the insights and business strategies they need to successfully navigate and market their brands and their songs. 

Growing up in a family firmly embedded in Canadian entertainment, Dante continued his own music path working concerts for bands such as April Wine and Def Leppard. As a musician, songwriter, and performer, Dante toured Europe, the U.K., Canada and the USA with CAIRO, The Balconies, Sampson and Chloe Charles. With the benefit of having lived the artist side of the business, Dante transitioned to A&R / Management / Project Consulting, working with Anthem Records (Rush, Stompin’ Tom Connors, Big Wreck) and Good People Artist Management (Jeremie Albino, Good Kid, Wayley). Dante is also an artist mentor through Canada’s Music Incubator Program, a FACTOR Juror, a CCMA /Juno Delegate, and an advocate with Toronto Music City.

HOW IT WORKS:

1. Coffee Convo.
A virtual meeting is set up to say hi and to determine if there’s a fit and an interest in moving the relationship forward. 

2. Consultation.
Dante will dive in to learn more about the artist in order to be informed for this initial consultation. At the first consultation the artist will provide Dante with deeper details specific to their project, while Dante will provide his 20,000 ft overview of the artist and some top-of-mind considerations. The goal of this consultation is to gain knowledge to inform the artists’ career path forward. This consultation will also determine what the artist is prepared to / able to invest time-wise, ability-wise and financially. Initial consultation $300.00 

3. Coaching.
Coaching sessions are provided on an hourly basis. During the first session Dante will provide his recommendations based on the consultation findings. Subsequent sessions are to plan the work and/or report on the work related to the artist’s business and marketing path. From creation to implementation, Dante and That First Song are able to manage the diverse aspects of an artists’ career, whether that be developing the over-arching plan or assisting with the day-to-day do’s. Coaching is a scaleable asset depending on how much assistance the artist is looking for. $100 per hour.
