On October 17th, as part of Toronto’s IMSTA FESTA, That First Song will bring to the stage “A Life in Songs” – an honest, audience-driven conversation about what it really means to build a life in music.
This isn’t a panel where you simply sit and listen. The conversation starts with your questions.
That First Song is a collaborative of talented peers who offer creative thinking, strategic guidance, and the people, expertise and resources to help move an idea from first thought to finished work, supporting songwriters and Artists at every stage of their careers.
Join That First Song Singer-Songwriter Rosanne Baker Thornley, Producers Ben Pelchat, Eddie Bullen, Duncan Reid, and guest artist Adam Bianchi (Stuck on Planet Earth), with moderator Jeff Sammut, for an engaging conversation that touches on songwriting, collaboration, production, publishing, pitching, sync, career realities – and some of the less visible pieces of finding your way through the music business.
If you’re a songwriter, Artist, producer, or simply somewhere in the middle of figuring out where your music might take you, come curious. Ask what matters.
Send your questions in advance to info@thatfirstsong.com, or bring them with you day of.
